Position Summary

This internship will provide valuable cross-functional experience, covering multiple creative and community marketing disciplines across various consumer touchpoints. The intern will be working directly with multiple team leads and have the chance to contribute meaningfully to real campaigns and projects.

Schedule

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Location: On-site in the K&N Corona Office

Travel: Some travel to events may be required as needed

 

Supervision

Reports to Adam Stadler, Creative team lead. Will also work with various team members in charge of specific disciplines.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate creative assets and track deliverables across multiple marketing projects
  • Assist with timelines, project organization, and cross-functional communication

Creative & Design Support

  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as social graphics, email assets, and digital ads

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Contribute to social media ideation, planning, and content development
  • Assist in building and maintaining the social media content calendar
  • Assist in the creation of engaging content (graphics, captions, short-form video)
  • Monitor and moderate social media comments and messages
  • Track social performance and identify trends and engagement opportunities

Partnerships & Events

  • Support partnership activations, sponsorships, and collaborations
  • Assist with event booth setup and event participation
  • Help coordinate branded materials and assets for events and partners

Marketing Operations & Fulfillment

  • Organize and manage digital assets, ensuring proper storage and accessibility

Research & Reporting

  • Assist in creating presentation decks to showcase completed work, upcoming campaigns, and product launch tactics and deliverables
  • Research on marketing trends, competitors, and industry insights
  • Support data collection and reporting for marketing campaigns and partnerships
  • Assist in compiling performance summaries and reports

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Current undergraduate or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Excellent project management skills – self-starter with the ability to self-manage with limited supervision and effectively prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passion for cars, trucks, and the automotive culture with an understanding of automotive parts and terminology
  • Consistently present a positive K&N image
