Position Summary
The position is responsible for providing support with routine data analysis and project
work, including the development of AI based digital tools to advance the
department priorities. This includes attending team meetings as requested,
conducting research, preparing documents, maintaining electronic files,
designing digital presentation media and working directly with data to conduct
analysis. The position reports directly to the Associate Director, Responsible Care.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with managing group projects, including but
not limited to assigned research projects, regulatory/legislative
tracking, developing data analysis tools, etc.
- Establishes and maintains systems for managing
documents.
- Participates in relevant internal ACC work groups and
teams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or
possession of an Associate’s degree.
- Demonstrated competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook,
Powerpoint, Access and Power BI.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and
tasks, work independently and exercise sound judgment in evaluating such
situations and issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential
information.
Preferred
- Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or R is a
plus.
- Prior trade association and/or public policy
experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical or related science
field.
