The Oilfield Services segment provides technology, project management, and information solutions to the oil and gas exploration and production industry. This segment offers:
Wireline technologies comprising open-hole and cased-hole services
Directional-drilling, measurement-while-drilling, and logging-while-drilling services
Exploration and production pressure and flow-rate measurement services at the surface and downhole and services used during oil and gas well drilling and completion
It also offers various services that are used to maintain production throughout the life of a well; well completion services and equipment; artificial lift; data and consulting services; and information solutions, including consulting, software, information management, and IT infrastructure products and services that support core oil and gas industry operational processes.
The WesternGeco segment provides reservoir imaging, monitoring, and development services, as well as operates seismic crews and data processing centers, and multi-client seismic library. This segment?s services range from 3D and time-lapse (4D) seismic surveys.
