How To Get Your Paper Resume Noticed
Use colored paper. Not a flashy neon, but a conservative pastel. It has to be a light, soft color, since anything too dark may not copy well. My favorites (in order of preference) are light salmon, light blue, and light blue-green, always using a high-quality bonded paper. A colored resume will always stand out in the sea of whites and ivories. It will also identify you as someone who is striving to be noticed. And you will be.
