I must say you have a BRILLIANT website that I have found extremely useful with revamping my resume!!!
I have a question: When sending resumes to employment agencies should a cover letter be sent
as well? And if so to whom should it be addressed to as one cannot tell which company it will be sent to?
Thank you for the help given in this site--- I have recommended it to all my friends looking to enter the job market.

Thank you for the compliment on the Web site.
The cover letter should be to your contact at the employment agency.
They will not be using your cover letter for presentation of your resume to
a client--instead it will usually have THEIR cover letter (if they use
one--most typically work over e-mail, phone or fax, with little or no use of the
mail--which should tell you something about what methods are the most
effective for someone who makes their living at this).
Also note that many employment agencies work little (and sometimes not at all) with entry level college grads.
However, there are a few that will work with you. Which ones? Make the call in advance to find out.
Thanks again for the compliments and the recommendations. Keep spreading the word!
