I graduated from college back in December with a degree in Economics.
Due to a family emergency, I had to stay at home taking care of a family member. That took several months.
Since then I've been working several part-time jobs (carpenter, substitute teacher, bookkeeper) while looking for
full-time work. My current resume does not account for what I've done since graduation.
How would I include these things? I'm pursuing jobs in marketing, consulting and finance. Thank you.

ANSWER FROM BRIAN KRUEGER:
Hi Michael -
Add another section entitled "Other Experience" that would have a short one paragraph account of what you have been
doing during the dates since graduation. Something like this:
Other Experience:
12/01 - Present
Due to a family emergency, have stayed at home taking care of a family member. Also working several part-time jobs.
Now ready to pursue full-time employment.
This information may seem out of sorts with the rest of a professional resume, but it does answer the
"Has he been looking unsuccessfully since graduation?" question that many employers might ask--and thereby wondering
what's wrong with you, that no one has been interested in hiring you since graduation.
