Thanks for taking the time to answer my question last time.
I'm now trying to research a local CPA firm. I've used some of the search engines on the Netscape browser, but all it turned up was the name and address of the firm. How do I about finding information about the firm
nonelectronically?
Thanks again.

ANSWER FROM BRIAN KRUEGER:
Hi Maggie -
Following are the steps I would recommend:
Local library - Tell the reference librarian that you are researching a local company and ask for any materials they may have.
Local newpaper - Most newspapers have keyword search capability for past articles, which you can then get a copy (for a small fee).
Networking - Who do you know who knows someone who works there? Or knows someone who works for a competitor?
Company itself - Call the CPA firm, tell them you are interested in finding out more information about them--they may be willing to send it out. Or simply stop by.
